The Treasurer’s Office serves as both a local county office and an agent for the State of Kansas. Our responsibilities include:
- Collecting property taxes for real estate, personal property, businesses, and other taxable entities
- Distributing tax revenues to local taxing entities including schools, cities, and other districts
- Managing county funds and investments with a focus on safety, liquidity, and responsible returns
- Processing motor vehicle titles, registrations, renewals, and related transactions
- Driver’s license renewals and driver's ed permits
- Selling Kansas hunting and fishing licenses
